Video Presentation to explain and discuss Best Technique for each stroke. Doubletree Suites and Conference Center - 2111 Butterfield Road, Downers Grove, IL. The presentation will be April 20, 9:00 am to Noon. From Noon to 1:00 pm a casual lunch will be provided, and from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm, the Meet Directors and Club Registrars Workshop will be held. No pre-registration, just mark your calendars and show up!

Congratulations to the 3,496 swimmers who participated in the Speedo Illinois Swimming Winter Regional Championships. Thanks to Barrington Swim Club, Glenbrook Aquatics, Homewood Flossmoor Swim Club, Lincoln Way Swim Association, Maverick Swim Club and Peoria Area Water Wizards for being such great meet hosts. Congratulations Matt Grevers and Kevin Cordes on both setting American Records at the AT&T Winter Nationals held at Austin, TX. Matt broke the record in the 100 yard backstroke by swimming a 44.55 bettering the previous mark held by Ryan Lochte (44.60) while Kevin bettered his previous American record (51.32) in the 100 yard breaststroke with a 51.10, and also set a new American Record in the 200 breast with an amazing time of 1:50.73. Due to technical difficulties, the Rules & Regulations Committee is postponing the effective date of Rule 102.24.4 until further notice. On March 7, 2012, FINA issued an interpretation of the breaststroke rule covering the initiation of the arm pull.
