Mission
The mission of the ISI Area Officials Representatives is to support the growth and development of local swim officials in order to promote the sport and enable the athletes and membership of Illinois Swimming to achieve excellence in swimming.
The Area Officials Representatives are charged to carry out this mission by:
- Serving as local ISI Officials’ Committee contacts for ISI officials and clubs.
- Encouraging clubs to recruit and train more local officials and to host officials training clinics.
- Encouraging local officials to advance in LSC and National Certification levels and to serve at ISI Championship meets.
- Assisting clubs to identify officials for local meets.
- Identifying on-deck training mentors and clinicians.
- Building Officials’ Communities among regions and areas of expertise.
